Privacy Policy
Effective August 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Y10 Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with practicereturns.com (the "Site"). We keep it short because the Site collects very little.
1. The Site is built to collect as little as possible
Practice Returns is a learning tool. We do not want, and ask you not to send, any real tax documents, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive or personal taxpayer information. The practice materials themselves are fictional and involve no real people.
2. Information you choose to give us
If you use the "Request a return" form, we collect what you choose to enter: your description of the tax situation, and, optionally, your name and email address. Your name and email are optional. We ask you not to include personal or confidential information in your description.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and to operate the Site. We store your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage; it stays on your device and is not sent to us.
4. How we use information
- To build, prioritize, and improve practice returns.
- To respond to your request and, if you asked and we build your scenario, to credit you.
- To operate, secure, and maintain the Site.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell your information. Requests submitted through our form are processed by our form provider, Web3Forms, and delivered to us by email; their handling of the data is subject to their own privacy practices. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Retention
We keep request submissions for as long as they are useful for building and improving the library, and then delete or anonymize them.
7. Your choices
You can use the Site without giving us a name or email. To ask what you have submitted, or to have it deleted, email us and we will help.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the latest version.
