Terms of Service
Effective August 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of practicereturns.com (the "Site"), operated by Y10 Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Educational use only
The Site provides fictional practice tax returns and related learning materials. Every taxpayer, document, figure, and scenario on the Site is entirely fictional and created for education and training. Nothing on the Site is tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice, and your use of the Site does not create a client, advisory, or professional relationship of any kind.
2. No reliance
Practice materials are simplified for learning and may not reflect current law, every jurisdiction, or every rule or exception. Do not rely on them to prepare, file, or advise on any real tax return. Always confirm current tax law and consult a qualified professional for actual tax matters.
3. Your license to use the materials
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the materials for your own education and training. You may not resell, redistribute, republish, sublicense, or commercially exploit the materials, present them as your own, or use them to build a competing product, without our prior written permission. Any future paid materials may carry additional terms presented at the time of purchase.
4. Scenario requests
If you submit a scenario request, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, adapt, and build on that idea, with no obligation to build it and no compensation owed. Please describe situations in general terms only and do not submit confidential, personal, or real taxpayer information. We may, at our discretion, credit requesters, but we are not obligated to.
5. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, design, and branding are owned by Y10 Solutions LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
6. Third-party services
The Site may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, form processing and hosting). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and all materials are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Y10 Solutions LLC and its members, officers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its materials, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes
We may update the Site or these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
